Holy Cobras

As far as emphatic interjections go, some of our favorites over here at WF include: egads, yuck, gah, and whups! Well now we can add Holy Cobras to that very esteemed and important list. These Ottawa natives make their own special brand of doomy futuristic weirdo rock, placing them comfortably in the sonic brotherhood of bands like Nice Face and A Place To Bury Strangers. This self-titled 7'' is completely solid, and the spring reverb freakout at the end of 'Feed Yr Head' is an especially nice touch.
