G. Green are a Sacramento band with a ton of buzz right now. Reviews of their live shows have been overwhelmingly positive, often making note of their unusual but assured vocals and energetic drumming. The songs themselves are a tight blend of garage, surf, and spazzy punk, calling to mind a somewhat higher-fi Tyvek. They've got some big shows coming up soon, opening for Wavves, Ganglians, and Procedure Club. Try to check them out live, and definitely pick this 7'' released on Malt Duck Records.
